I have not read the book nor watched the movie or heard the backlash. But i like what you said. There are alot of judgemental people out there, Christians and non Christians. We are all sinners and need God's forgiveness. I dye my hair. Does that make me bad? I wear nail polish, is that bad? God is the one who is the ultimate judge, not people here on earth. We have to answer to Him and not others.

you know, you can just raise your kids as general Christians, then when they're older, you can explain to them the different types of Christianity, then let them decide later... if you're choices are Catholic, Lutheran, and Baptist, then just raise your kids to love God, and like tell them stories from the bible and stuff, then wait until later to decide which Christianity to become. in my PoV, as long as you love God, follow Jesus' footsteps, and follow the rules that they both lay out (10 commandments + Jesus' 2 'summary' commandments) i think everything else is secondary. for example, i'm Catholic, but i go to my friend's Youth Group, and he's Evangelical.

yay! French! i've been studying this language since i was... well, i think around Shannon's age... or younger even. it's not that hard, but maybe it has something to do with age and picking up stuff... not saying you're old Shell, but i'm just saying it might be easier when you're like below 10

hmm... i guess i'll start posting comments then...

this seems like a good one to start with since i'm Christian and I celebrate Halloween. go figure.

in my opinion, if you celebrate Halloween to worship the devil or something, obviously i'll look on you badly, but if it's for the fun of the holiday and everything, i doubt anyone but the extremists will care, i mean even my priest kinda somewhat celebrates it.
